This is a hands-on, site-based role covering civil and finishing works from structural execution through snagging and final handover.
The role works with main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and the internal Projects team to maintain quality and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily civil and finishing works on site in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor and support structural execution activities and flag deviations early.
- Coordinate fit-out works across trades to prevent clashes, rework, and delays.
- Lead and track snagging by identifying defects, maintaining snag lists, and following items through closure.
- Support handover of completed residential units to clients, Sales, or Facilities Management teams.
- Review shop drawings and method statements and confirm on-site compliance with approved documents.
- Liaise daily with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve site-related issues.
- Escalate quality, schedule, or resourcing risks to the Project Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- Graduation in Engineering or a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Six to eight years of relevant experience with main contractors or developers on real estate projects.
Required Skills
- Experience with structural execution, civil finishes, fit-out coordination, snagging, and residential unit handover.
- IT skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing reading and markups.
- Proven track record delivering civil and finishing works on real estate or residential projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
