Banquet and guest operations
- Coordinate staff teamwork and inspect grooming and attire, correcting deficiencies.
- Communicate with guests, employees, and departments to address guest needs and special event arrangements.
- Set up banquet rooms, furniture, and equipment; maintain cleanliness and proper table settings to meet group requirements and company standards.
- Resolve setup problems and document pertinent information in department logbooks.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist people with disabilities, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Staff, safety, and standards
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
- Build positive working relationships and support shared team goals.
- Follow company safety and security policies, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and meet quality standards.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- No license or certification is listed.
Physical requirements
Work may involve extended standing, sitting, or walking and lifting or moving items; up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 75 pounds with assistance.
Reach, bend, twist, grasp, and move across stairs, service ramps, and sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
