Job purpose

Complete heat-pressing and finishing stages of textile production while coordinating with suppliers, packing orders accurately, and maintaining an organized workspace.

Heat pressing and quality control

  • Receive printed transfer paper and order details from the Printing Operator.
  • Confirm order number, fabric type, length, quantity, design direction, and print requirements before pressing.
  • Inspect fabric for stains, marks, weaving defects, or incorrect measurements.
  • Set heat-press temperature, pressure, speed, and timing for each fabric; monitor pressing and make approved adjustments.
  • Align transfer paper and fabric to prevent shifting, ghosting, creases, white lines, or incomplete transfers.
  • Inspect finished fabric for color consistency, alignment, marks, damage, and overall print quality.
  • Separate defective items and report them to the Warehouse Supervisor; record damage, production errors, and material wastage.

Supplier coordination

  • Communicate with approved fabric, packaging, maintenance, and other operational suppliers.
  • Request quotations, confirm prices, place approved orders, and follow up on delivery dates.
  • Check deliveries against purchase details, quantities, and agreed quality; report shortages, damage, errors, delays, or price differences.
  • Organize supplier invoices, delivery notes, and receipts for the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Maintain professional supplier relationships and do not approve unplanned expenses unless authorized.

Packing and dispatch

  • Fold and pack completed fabrics according to company standards and match orders to customer, order, quantity, and delivery details.
  • Include required labels, invoices, care instructions, or promotional materials.
  • Prepare orders for courier collection, customer pickup, or delivery; update order status when packing is complete.
  • Keep completed, pending, defective, and returned orders in separate areas.

Workspace and general duties

  • Keep the heat press, packing area, shelves, tools, and surrounding workspace clean and organized.
  • Complete approved cleaning and maintenance, monitor material levels, follow heat-safety procedures, use protective equipment when required, and secure equipment at day’s end.
  • Assist with stock counts, deliveries, printing, and other production work during busy periods.
  • Follow production priorities set by the Warehouse Supervisor and protect company and customer products from damage, dirt, moisture, or loss.

Required skills and experience

  • Heat-press operation or textile production experience is preferred; one year of sublimation experience is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to recognize fabric and printing defects.
  • Organizational and supplier-follow-up skills.
  • Ability to handle fabrics and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer and order-sheet skills.
  • English is required; Arabic is an advantage.

Workplace

  • Work location is stated as in person.

Compensation

  • Pay is AED 2,500–3,500 per month.
