About This Role
Job Summary
The Structural Design Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, and detailing structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects.
This role ensures that structures are safe, code-compliant, economical, and constructible, while meeting client and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems including concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures
- Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and technical specifications
- Develop structural drawings and details using CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and regulations
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and construction documents
- Provide technical support during construction, including site visits and inspections
- Identify and resolve structural design issues and value-engineering opportunities
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and cost control activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in structural design and analysis
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and design codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocodes, IS Codes, ASCE)
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD, RAM)
- Experience with BIM and drafting tools (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent preferred or in progress

Working Conditions
- Office-based with occasional site visits
- May require travel to project locations
Salary Package
- AED 8,000 – 9,000
