Full-time, on-site Structural Design Engineer role based in Doha, Qatar.
Develop safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs for residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties.
Role responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and calculations; prepare design drawings and documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers.
- Ensure designs meet local codes, safety standards, and company requirements.
- Review and optimize existing designs; support site teams with technical guidance and participate in design reviews.
- Work with contractors and external consultants to resolve structural issues during construction.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Structural Analysis and Structural Engineering, with foundational knowledge and practical experience in Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD tools, including AutoCAD.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience designing reinforced concrete and steel structures for buildings and compounds.
- Familiarity with international and local codes, including Eurocode, ACI, BS, and Qatari regulations.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and integrate structural solutions into multidisciplinary designs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills, with attention to detail and safety.
- GCC real estate development or construction experience is an advantage.
