The Strategy Specialist shapes and drives organizational IT and digital strategy.
The role develops strategic roadmaps and monitors implementation of initiatives for alignment with business objectives and long-term priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance IT and digital strategies, roadmaps, and investment business cases.
- Research markets, assess technology, and benchmark industry developments to identify trends and opportunities.
- Assess strategic initiatives and technology investments against business priorities.
- Track initiative delivery, benefits, performance indicators, and KPIs.
- Prepare strategic reports, executive briefings, and management- and board-level presentations.
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans with business and technology stakeholders.
- Recommend actions to support strategic decisions and technology investment planning.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in IT strategy, digital strategy, corporate strategy, or enterprise architecture.
- Strong knowledge of strategy development, business cases, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Experience in market assessments, technology benchmarking, and strategic performance monitoring.
- Strong analytical, business planning, presentation, and executive communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
- An MBA is preferred.
- TOGAF or another recognized strategy or enterprise architecture certification is preferred.
- Management consulting or strategy consulting experience is preferred.
