Strategy Analyst

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Analyse internal and external data and turn complex information into insights and recommendations.
• Support strategy projects involving market analysis, airline performance, economic trends, and industry research.
• Contribute to passenger and cargo forecasting for long-term investment and planning.
• Monitor aviation trends, passenger demand, flight schedules, airline performance, and route developments.
• Research industry, consumer, and societal trends for business cases and strategic planning.
• Prepare stakeholder reports and presentations communicating findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Aviation, Corporate Affairs, and other teams.
• Improve reporting, analysis, and business processes through continuous improvement.

Candidate requirements

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent analytical experience.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, numerical, and quantitative skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into practical business insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisation, time management, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Power BI or similar data visualisation and analysis experience is advantageous.

Workplace and contract

• The role offers flexible hybrid working.
• The position is described as a permanent contract.
• Potential work locations include Manchester, East Midlands, London Stansted, and central London.
