Role overview
Supports the Engineering Supply Chain department in achieving high service levels at the lowest total cost.
Plans cost-effective inventory provisioning to prevent delays and cancellations and support effective spares utilization.
Inventory and forecasting
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and stock turn.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and trend analysis for supply chain KPIs.
- Build demand forecasts from historical data, market trends, and maintenance schedules.
- Calculate and update ERP reorder points for critical assets.
Analysis and improvement
- Report daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial metrics for supply chain leadership.
- Track performance against targets and budgets and flag issues for corrective action.
- Analyze supply chain challenges and provide recommendations for revenue, cost, and decision improvements.
- Lead optimization projects in inventory, forecasting, cost savings, and processes, documenting standard operating procedures.
- Conduct recurring analyses to find cost savings and improve processes.
Experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical degree and at least five years of inventory management experience.
- Expert in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SQL, Python, and process mapping tools.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Aircraft maintenance and/or supply chain inventory management experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of MPD, AMM, CMM, IPC manuals and familiarity with RSPLs is an asset.
- Self-motivated team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
