Seven Seas Hotel Dubai is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented **Storekeeper** to manage inventory operations, maintain stock records, and ensure the efficient storage and issuance of materials.
The ideal candidate must have prior hotel industry experience and strong knowledge of the **IDS Hotel Management System**, which is a mandatory requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using the IDS system.
- Issue materials and supplies to departments against approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment when required.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and stock audits.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of all items.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing and Receiving departments.
- Maintain store cleanliness and comply with hotel standards and procedures.
- Investigate and report stock discrepancies or damages.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper in a hotel environment.
- **IDS knowledge** is mandatory.
- **Hotel industry experience is mandatory.**
- Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control procedures.
- Good knowledge of store documentation and reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
- Experience working with hotel inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
