Overview
We are looking for an experienced Cost Controller to join our hotel team in the UAE.
The ideal candidate must have hotel industry experience, strong knowledge of cost control procedures, and hands-on experience with IDS system, which is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control food, beverage, and operational costs
- Analyze cost variances and prepare cost reports
- Ensure accurate posting and reconciliation of inventory and purchases
- Maintain proper control over receiving, storing, and issuing of goods
- Review supplier invoices and ensure compliance with contracts
- Work closely with Finance, Purchasing, and F&B departments
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
- Use IDS system for cost control, reporting, and inventory management
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years experience as Cost Controller in a hotel (UAE experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of IDS system is a must
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management
- Good knowledge of inventory control and costing procedures
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in hospitality or luxury hotel environment
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
