Position Overview
Manage warehouse operations for construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Ensure proper handling of structural, architectural, and site materials while maintaining inventory records and supporting timely material availability for project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries and verify quantities, specifications, and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Coordinate material inspection and approval with procurement and site teams; report discrepancies, damage, or shortages.
- Organize materials safely and systematically, including labeling, stacking, and segregation of structural, concrete, rebar, formwork, finishing, and consumable items.
- Maintain inventory records, monitor stock levels, and notify procurement about low-stock or fast-moving items.
- Issue materials against approved Material Request Forms and document quantities, project allocation, and usage.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports; keep the warehouse clean and compliant with safety standards.
- Ensure proper handling of heavy materials and coordinate timely deliveries with procurement, project engineers, and site supervisors.
- Provide accurate stock availability updates to support project planning.
Qualifications & Experience
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience as a Storekeeper in construction contracting or warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials.
- Familiarity with UAE market suppliers and material specifications.
