Rose London is hiring an Inventory Controller & Data Entry professional to manage inventory and data entry for fabric and textile products.
Inventory and stock responsibilities
- Receive, count, inspect, and record incoming fabric pieces and textile items.
- Check fabric quantities, item codes, designs, and measurements; maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and ensure physical stock matches system records.
- Investigate and report missing, damaged, or incorrect items.
- Track sold, transferred, returned, and remaining fabric pieces.
- Support stock audits and monthly inventory reconciliation; keep stock and storage areas organized.
Data entry and customer support
- Enter shop and online sales invoices, purchase invoices, stock transfers, and other required data.
- Check item codes, quantities, prices, and invoice details before entry.
- Prepare and organize online orders when required.
- Assist the sales team and serve customers during busy periods when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, or data entry; storekeeping experience of two years is required.
- Experience with fabrics, textiles, garments, or retail stock is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Excel; POS, Shopify, ERP, or inventory-system experience is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of invoices and accounting documents.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, good communication and customer service skills, and ability to work independently and support sales.
Location and work arrangement
- The description lists Abu Dhabi and states that the work location is in person.
- Commute or relocation to Abu Dhabi before starting is preferred; willingness to travel up to 25% is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,000–2,300 per month.
