Role overview

Duties and responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify materials, tools, and equipment against purchase orders and delivery notes; issue materials to site teams against approved requisitions.
• Conduct stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Manage inventory control, material handling, warehousing, and store operations; coordinate with internal departments, especially Procurement.
• Maintain stock records, monitor inventory levels, identify purchasing needs, and update stock entries.
• Organize and label stored materials; report damaged, expired, or excess stock and raise purchase requests when stock reaches minimum levels.
• Oversee company transportation operations and maintain an organized filing system for related documents.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and organized in accordance with HSE guidelines; perform other duties assigned by the immediate superior.

Requirements and qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or diploma is required.
• Proven storekeeping and inventory-control experience or experience in a similar role is required.
• Three to five years of construction-industry experience is preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word and Excel, is required.
• Knowledge of stock checking, stock keeping, and material-handling procedures is required.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, multitasking, prioritization, and time management are required.
• Leadership and team-management skills, physical fitness for warehouse duties, and good written and spoken English are required.

Compensation and benefits

• Pay is listed as AED 2,500–3,000 per month.
