We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Store Manager to manage the complete stores and inventory function for our FoodWhisperer kitchen in Hoodi, Bengaluru.
Employment Type: Full-Time. Experience: 3-6 Years.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the kitchen stores.
- Handle receipt, storage, issue, and movement of raw materials and other inventory.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory documentation.
- Monitor daily consumption and ensure stock availability as per production requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Coordinate with the Procurement and Kitchen teams for material requirements.
- Ensure proper storage of food items as per FIFO / FEFO principles.
- Monitor expiry dates, shelf life, and condition of food materials.
- Ensure proper segregation and storage of dry, chilled, and frozen products.
- Maintain proper documentation for GRN, stock issue, returns, wastage, and transfers.
- Monitor food and material wastage and report discrepancies.
Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and storage standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stores area.
- Support periodic inventory audits and ensure timely closure of discrepancies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports.
- Coordinate with vendors, procurement, and finance teams whenever required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Hotel Management, Supply Chain, Stores, Inventory Management, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in food service, central kitchen, hospitality, institutional catering, or FMCG stores.
- Strong knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Good understanding of FIFO / FEFO, GRN, stock reconciliation, and inventory control.
- Experience handling food and perishable inventory will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of Excel and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate with kitchen, procurement, and operations teams.
- Candidate should be comfortable working from Hoodi, Bengaluru.
