The Operations Manager is responsible for operating and managing assigned corporate cafeterias.
Assigned cafeterias may belong to one corporate organization or multiple organizations.
The role focuses on guest satisfaction, food and beverage service, hygiene, safety, and cafeteria financial health.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations, attendance tracking, rostering, vendor management, client management, escalations, cash management, and reporting.
- Meet client service deliverables and maintain guest satisfaction.
- Attend mandatory training and conduct operations training for the team.
- Train vendor staff on POS operations and teams on POS and app troubleshooting.
- Manage inventory, menu planning, communication, service standards, and cafeteria records.
- Maintain MMRS and MOM.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline is required, with Hotel Management preferred.
- Proven experience managing a corporate food court or cafeteria is required.
- Good written and spoken English is required.
- Strong attention to hygiene, cleanliness, grooming, health, and safety is expected.
- Excellent food and beverage service knowledge is required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
Operational knowledge
- Product knowledge and day-to-day operating procedures are required.
- The role involves POS operations, inventory management, menu planning, communication, and service acumen.
Work setting
- The role manages assigned physical cafeteria locations and food and beverage service operations.
