Store Keeper Assistant

Role overview

Storekeeping and inventory duties

• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report issues to the manager and procurement team.
• Maintain stock records, inventory documentation, and control of stock levels.
• Coordinate freight and equipment movement, and arrange required minor repairs.
• Manage receiving, inspection, material tagging, stocking, locating, retrieval, and issuing processes.
• Verify received items against purchase orders, material requisitions, or customer material requests.
• Coordinate technical verification with the supervisor and ensure materials are inspected by the relevant department.
• Prepare receiving and inspection documents, maintain control sheets, and complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Review inventory movements and retrieve rejected, damaged, and overage items.
• Check stored items regularly, maintain good housekeeping, and report equipment defects.
• Keep store equipment and tools safe and secure when unattended.

Administrative and purchasing duties

• Organize physical and electronic records, files, and databases while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed; serve as a point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, and purchasing requests.
• Perform basic bookkeeping and clerical duties; maintain vendor, supplier, and purchase records.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience.

Pay

• QAR 2,000–2,400 per month.
