AAES seeks an experienced IT Support / Social Media Specialist to manage IT infrastructure, support users across company sites, and maintain the company’s social media presence.
The description gives Qatar as the role location.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues; install, configure, and update systems and devices.
- Provide support by phone, email, or in person and train users on systems and security best practices.
- Administer domain, file, and email infrastructure, SonicWall firewall, PABX/IP telephony, CCTV, and Matrix servers.
- Run daily data backups and manage IT software licenses.
- Maintain IT device and printer-toner inventory and support printers, desktops, laptops, and networks at all sites.
- Manage and update company social media channels with professional, on-brand content.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection standards; educate users on system usage, best practices, and security protocols.
- Collaborate with other IT teams on system improvements and project implementation.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT and four years of relevant experience are required.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, or Linux is required.
- Experience troubleshooting networks, VPNs, and hardware is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and experience with helpdesk ticketing and remote desktop tools are required.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.
- CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
Compensation
- The description lists pay of QAR 4,000–5,000 per month.
