The company is hiring a Light Driver / Buyer (Driver cum Purchaser) to work in Qatar.
Driving and transportation
- Safely drive company cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, or small vans across Qatar.
- Pick up and drop off office staff, documents, official letters, and packages.
- Collect cheques, handle bank errands, and process paperwork with government or private entities.
- Follow Qatar traffic laws and speed limits and use GPS or navigation apps.
- Inspect oil, tires, lights, and fluid levels daily, and keep the vehicle clean and serviced.
Purchasing and procurement
- Procure requested small-scale inventory, office supplies, hardware, spares, or raw materials.
- Visit local suppliers, wholesale shops, and hardware stores in Doha or industrial zones to purchase items.
- Obtain competitive quotations, compare vendor rates, and negotiate basic discounts or payment terms when authorized.
Qualifications
- A valid Qatar light vehicle driving license is required.
- At least 2 to 3 years of verifiable driving and/or local purchasing experience in Qatar is required.
- Strong familiarity with Doha roads, industrial areas, major highways, and traffic regulations is required.
- Basic to good English proficiency is requested; Arabic is an advantage for vendor negotiation and paperwork.
- Relevant background may include general trading, contracting, retail, facilities management, or warehousing.
- Honesty with petty cash and receipts, punctuality, physical fitness for light loading and unloading, and a clean driving record are required.
- A valid Qatar ID with transferrable status or an NOC is required if applicable.
Pay
- Pay is QAR 2,000 to QAR 3,000 per month.
