The Role

As a Mason with ORA Renovate, you will install natural stone, porcelain, and specialty tiles across luxury bathrooms, kitchens, feature walls, and flooring on high-end residential renovation projects in Dubai. You will be working with premium materials in finished homes — where every joint, alignment, and grout line is visible.

This role requires someone with a steady hand, a designer’s eye, and the patience to deliver a flawless finish in materials that don’t forgive mistakes.

Key Responsibilities

– Install natural stone, marble, porcelain, and ceramic tiles to floors, walls, and feature surfaces

– Carry out setting out and dry-lay to optimise pattern, veining, and cut positions before fixing

– Make precise mitre cuts, bullnose finishes, and drilled penetrations for fixtures

– Prepare substrates: levelling, waterproofing, and primer application for wet areas

– Set out and install large-format tiles, book-matched stone, and decorative borders

– Grout, seal, and polish finished surfaces to a premium standard

– Install stone skirtings, thresholds, countertops, and splashbacks

– Coordinate with plumbers, electricians, and carpenters on wet-room and kitchen sequencing

– Protect completed surfaces until project handover

– Report material defects or delivery issues promptly to the project manager

Skills & Experience Required

– Minimum 7 years’ experience as a tile mason, marble fitter, or stone mason

– Proven experience installing natural stone, marble, and large-format porcelain

– Ability to read architectural stone and tile layouts and setting-out drawings

– Skilled in wet cutting, mitring, and book-matching premium stone

– Working knowledge of substrate preparation and waterproofing in bathrooms and wet areas

– Competent with wet saws, angle grinders, levelling systems, and polishing tools

– High attention to detail with demonstrably clean, level, and straight joints

– Physically fit — comfortable with prolonged kneeling, bending, and heavy lifting

– Professional and presentable for work in occupied or high-end residential properties

– Valid UAE residency or ability to be sponsored on a UAE employment visa

– UAE driving licence is an advantage
