Role overview
Responsible for stockyard operations, including receiving, inspection, and issuance of vehicles and marketing items related to logistics customers.
Ensure items are handled with the right quantity and quality and delivered to the right location.
Stockyard operations
- Manage procedures for receiving new shipments and monitor stockyard controllers performing physical inspections.
- Maintain zero inventory variance for stock vehicles and conduct monthly stock counts.
- Manage the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) process and quality control.
- Manage stock volume against capacity and create temporary and permanent stock plans.
Team and budget
- Manage staff KPIs.
- Prepare the stockyard budget and ensure its utilization within the given timeframe.
- Handle petty cash for stockyard operational expenses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Six to ten years of experience in warehouse or logistics.
