Role overview

Leads end-to-end financial operations for multi-brand dealerships, including showrooms, service centres and parts branches.

Acts as the primary financial liaison with OEMs and partners with branch managers to drive profitability.

The description covers both Finance Manager and Chief Accountant positions; the Chief Accountant variant focuses on accounting duties.

Financial operations and performance

  • Direct the accounting cycle and timely, accurate month-, quarter- and year-end close across branches.
  • Book landed costs and analyze gross margins by VIN, model and channel.
  • Control vehicle and parts inventory accounting, asset valuation, aged-stock provisions and CAPEX compliance with OEM corporate identity standards.
  • Deliver financial dashboards and track dealership KPIs, including aftersales absorption, return on sales and inventory turn.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts with operations; review branch P&Ls and investigate variances.
  • Reconcile OEM statements, bonuses, holdbacks, warranty claims and campaign support.
  • Ensure revenue recognition across new and used vehicles, fleet sales, aftersales and F&I commissions.
  • Track letters of credit and bank facilities; manage receivables and payables with relevant teams.
  • Maintain Autoline sub-ledger to general-ledger alignment, compliance and internal controls; standardize workflows across branches.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification required: CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent; SOCPA membership is an advantage.
  • 5–7 years of progressive finance experience in automotive retail or dealerships; multi-brand, multi-site experience is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced hands-on Autoline DMS proficiency is mandatory across showroom, parts, workshop and finance modules.
  • Ability to resolve complex OEM reconciliations and explain automotive financial KPIs to operational leaders.
  • Fluent English required; Arabic preferred.

Performance measures

Measures include timely, accurate close; OEM receivables reconciliation and collection; gross margin; inventory turn and provisions; receivables days; budget and forecast accuracy; audit closure; ZATCA/VAT penalties; and Autoline reconciliation accuracy.

Specific KPI targets and weights may be adjusted annually through the performance management cycle in agreement with the line manager.
