Role overview

Stock control and reporting

• Oversee warehouse-to-store, store-to-store, and inbound stock transfers; ensure movements are recorded and updated.
• Oversee warehouse audits, stock counts, discrepancy investigation, and resolution.
• Report on deliveries, stock levels, pending orders, damaged or short merchandise claims, and replenishment.
• Ensure defective stock adjustments follow company policy.
• Review stocktake results with retail, wholesale, and finance stakeholders and reconcile figures against store movements and transfers.
• Prepare reports and recommendations based on findings; implement stock-loss action plans and monitor compliance.

Stocktake and shipment coordination

• Prepare the annual stocktake calendar with the Operations Manager and Store Manager and communicate the plan to relevant parties.
• Coordinate staffing and resources for physical stocktakes and monitor compliance with procedures.
• Coordinate goods shipments with the Italy-based partner and logistics company to support timely store delivery.

Staff support

• Guide, train, appraise, and motivate staff, where applicable.

Requirements

• Ability to oversee stock movements across warehouses and stores and ensure records are updated.
• Ability to manage warehouse audits, stock counts, discrepancies, and reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare stock-take plans and coordinate the manpower and resources needed for physical stocktakes.
• Ability to review stocktake results and reconcile figures with operations and finance stakeholders.
• Ability to prepare reports, recommend actions, and implement stock-loss action plans.
• Ability to coordinate shipments with international and logistics partners to support timely store delivery.
• Ability to guide, train, appraise, and motivate staff, where applicable.
