Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Steward** to support our kitchen and service teams.
The ideal candidate will ensure cleanliness, proper handling of kitchen tools and equipment, and help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, pantry, and storage areas
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries
- Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling
- Support kitchen and service teams as needed
- Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
