Job Description
The employer is seeking an experienced Steel Fixer Engineer with knowledge of reinforcement works and construction site practices.
Responsibilities
- Read structural drawings and bar bending schedules.
- Supervise and inspect steel fixing and rebar installation for slabs, beams, columns, foundations, and walls.
- Ensure correct bar sizes, spacing, laps, cover, and alignment according to approved drawings.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and steel fixers.
- Monitor quality, progress, and site safety requirements.
- Identify and report technical issues and ensure work complies with project specifications.
Requirements
- Around 10 years of relevant experience in steel fixing or reinforcement works.
- Ability to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules.
- Good knowledge of construction standards and site safety.
- Arabic-speaking candidate required.
- UAE or GCC construction experience is preferred.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person at the construction site.
