Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web applications with React and backend technologies including Golang, TypeScript, or PHP.
• Create reusable code and scalable architecture for millions of users.
• Design MySQL schema migrations, optimize complex queries, and protect data integrity.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes into code and assess design feasibility.
• Partner with designers, product managers, team members, and stakeholders.
• Resolve performance bottlenecks from frontend rendering through database indexing.
• Write maintainable code, review peers' code, mentor junior engineers, and explain technical concepts.

Skills and Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, building, and scaling enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong Golang experience building microservices and handling concurrency.
• Strong React and TypeScript skills, modern CSS frameworks, WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Full-stack skills in relational data modeling, database optimization, REST API design, JavaScript, CSS, and API delivery.
• REST API lifecycle knowledge, including versioning, pagination, rate limiting, and security practices.
• Understanding of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates.
• Use of test-driven development and acceptance tests.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure required; AWS ecosystem tools are noted as familiarities.
• Redis familiarity is advantageous.
