Position purpose

The position is described as an Oracle HCM Senior Staff Engineer with techno-functional experience, primarily focused on Benefits.

The role leads complex Oracle HCM implementations and transformation initiatives, with integrations across enterprise and external partners.

Core responsibilities

  • Design Oracle HCM solutions across OIC, Core HR, and other modules; lead configuration, customization, integrations, and implementations.
  • Serve as OIC subject matter expert and work with business and product stakeholders to understand needs and recommend solutions.
  • Manage integrations with ERP, payroll, insurance, retirement, and other third-party systems; oversee data migration and integrity.
  • Configure benefits plans, eligibility profiles, rates, and enrollment rules; test and troubleshoot benefits functionality.
  • Ensure compliance and security controls; optimize processes and resolve technical issues.
  • Create and maintain configuration and deployment documentation; train end users and technical teams.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, new features, ongoing maintenance, and implementation-team delivery.

Experience and qualifications

  • 10+ years of HCM/HR solutions experience with Oracle and PeopleSoft; proven Oracle HCM lead experience with OIC and Core HR expertise.
  • Strong end-to-end OIC, Core HR configuration, and PeopleSoft integration knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience with flexfields, HDL, Spreadsheet Loader, Functional Configuration Manager, user-defined tables, and value sets.
  • Experience with HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, HDL, OTBI, data conversion, migration, and integration tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills; able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Technical skills

  • Technical skills listed include Oracle Integration Cloud or other middleware, HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, HDL, and OTBI.
  • VBCS, Redwood, and understanding of Agentic AI are also listed.

Compensation

  • The listed salary range is $157,900 to $205,300 per year.
