Role overview

The Senior SQA Analyst is part of the Insurance Squad in the Digital Platform Delivery and Architecture group.

The role combines hands-on manual and automated testing with ownership of test frameworks, tooling, and delivery-quality outcomes across IT initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute test strategies and plans aligned to solution architecture, timelines, and quality objectives.
  • Design and execute manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and selected non-functional tests.
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks and scripts, prioritizing repeatable, risk-based scenarios.
  • Integrate automated tests into the development and CI/CD lifecycle.
  • Work with developers, product owners, and delivery teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Improve delivery confidence, reduce regression risk, and support faster, higher-quality releases.

Workplace and location

  • The role uses a hybrid work environment with three in-office days per week, subject to change.
  • The role can be based at the Ottawa headquarters or a Community Hub in Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver.
  • Relocation assistance is available to eligible candidates.

Compensation

  • The stated annual salary range is $96,557 to $128,743, based on qualifications and experience, plus a performance-based incentive.
