Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate secure, scalable, high-performing digital experiences and reusable design-system components.
• Set component architecture, APIs, documentation, versioning, and contribution standards.
• Deliver integrations across Adobe services, APIs, identity, content, analytics, and enterprise services.
• Use AI coding agents responsibly and establish safeguards, automated validation, traceability, and human review.
• Implement testing and quality practices in CI/CD; own production delivery, observability, incident resolution, and improvement.
• Collaborate across design, product, content, architecture, and delivery; coach engineers and promote reusable patterns.

Required qualifications

• Related post-secondary degree or equivalent education and professional experience; at least 7 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Advanced JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, modern web development, and component-based architecture skills.
• Experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services, Adobe Experience Manager, or a comparable enterprise digital experience platform.
• Experience building enterprise design systems, reusable components, design tokens, and responsive production interfaces.
• Knowledge of accessibility, web performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO, cross-browser compatibility, and secure development.
• Experience with platform integrations, professional AI coding tools, automated testing, Git, CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability, and cloud delivery.

Preferred qualifications

• Adobe Edge Delivery Services, Experience Manager, Web SDK, Analytics, Target, or Adobe Developer certifications are a differentiator.
• Figma, design-token workflows, Storybook, design-system governance, or enterprise AI-agent configuration experience is an asset.
• Large-scale content migration, modernization, Python, C#, cloud-native services, containers, Kubernetes, or Azure certifications are assets.
• Financial-services or other highly regulated industry experience is an asset.

Compensation

• Annual salary typically ranges from $96,557 to $128,743, based on qualifications and experience, plus a performance-based incentive.

Work arrangement

• Hybrid work environment, currently requiring three office days per week, subject to change.
• Role may be performed from Ottawa headquarters or a listed EDC Community Hub, including Calgary. Relocation assistance may be available to eligible candidates.
