Overview

Our client is a leading digital and integrated marketing agency based in Dubai, delivering award-winning campaigns for some of the region's most recognized brands.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Social Media Account Manager to lead client relationships, drive social media strategy, and oversee the successful delivery of high-impact digital campaigns.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded social media professional who combines strategic thinking with exceptional client servicing skills and a deep understanding of the evolving social media landscape.

Client Leadership & Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Lead strategic discussions, campaign planning sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, and cross-selling agency services.
  • Ensure client objectives are translated into actionable social media strategies.

Social Media Strategy

  • Develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with client business goals.
  • Lead the planning and execution of always-on, campaign-based, and integrated social media initiatives.
  • Provide strategic direction across content, community management, influencer marketing, and paid social activities.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.

Campaign Delivery

  • Collaborate closely with creative, content, performance marketing, and production teams to deliver best-in-class campaigns.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, scopes, and deliverables across multiple accounts.
  • Ensure all work meets agency quality standards and is delivered on time and within budget.

Performance & Reporting

  • Analyze campaign performance and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Present campaign results, recommendations, and strategic plans to clients.
  • Monitor KPIs, engagement metrics, audience growth, and ROI across social channels.
  • Drive continuous optimization based on performance data and market insights.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and support junior account managers, executives, and social media specialists.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Contribute to agency-wide initiatives, process improvements, and business development efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or account management within a digital, creative, or integrated agency environment.
  • Proven experience managing large regional and international brands.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Snapchat, and YouTube.
  • Experience developing social media strategies and managing integrated digital campaigns.
  • Strong client servicing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to identify growth opportunities within client accounts.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting social media and campaign performance metrics.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with FMCG, Retail, Automotive, Hospitality, Government, Real Estate, or Consumer brands.
  • Exposure to influencer marketing, social commerce, and paid social campaigns.
  • Regional GCC market experience.
  • Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
