Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 10–12+ years of QA/QC experience in large contracting firms within the UAE.
- Extensive experience on high‐rise construction projects.
- Professional certifications such as QA/QC Engineer, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent.
- In‐depth knowledge of UAE building codes, civil works specifications, and safety standards.
- Proficiency with QA/QC software tools and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and decision‐making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work on-site under demanding schedules and conditions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection checklists for high‐rise projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections, material testing, and workmanship audits to verify compliance.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports to senior management.
- Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with UAE building codes, fire safety, and environmental regulations.
- Lead non‐conformance investigations, root‐cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring readiness for client and regulatory inspections.
- Mentor junior QA/QC staff and provide training on quality standards and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend best‐practice enhancements.
