SR MEP FM ENGINEER FOR A SWIMMING POOL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

Role overview

Maintenance and pool systems

• Develop and implement planned preventive maintenance schedules for MEP assets; oversee corrective maintenance and maintain asset records.
• Supervise pool filtration, circulation, dosing, chemical controls, heating or chilling, backwashing, balance tanks, lighting, covers, and water features.
• Monitor water quality against municipal and health-authority standards, and track leaks and water loss.

Landscape, electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems

• Supervise irrigation pumps, controllers, valves, sprinklers, drip lines, and fertigation; maintain landscape lighting, fountains, and water features.
• Optimize water use through smart irrigation and TSE systems where applicable.
• Maintain LV electrical systems, generators, UPS, and lighting; ensure electrical safety and conduct inspections and thermography.
• Maintain HVAC, pump and plant rooms, tanks, piping, water treatment, booster sets, and drainage.

Safety, team and commercial management

• Enforce HSE, permit-to-work, lockout/tagout, confined-space, and chemical-handling procedures; ensure compliance and report incidents.
• Supervise technicians, supervisors, and subcontractors; allocate work, conduct training, and ensure SLA and KPI compliance.
• Prepare budgets, spare-parts forecasts, and cost-control plans; review quotations, raise purchase requests, and manage inventory.
• Submit performance reports, KPI dashboards, and root-cause analyses.

Sustainability and client support

• Identify energy and water savings, including variable-speed pumps, solar heating, and LED lighting; support lifecycle costing and asset replacement planning.
• Review designs, support handover and commissioning, manage defects liability periods, and respond to client inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 7 years of facilities management experience with a swimming pool and landscape company.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 10,000–16,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person.
