Support equity accounting, including equity method investments, preferred and common equity transactions, warrants, and the classification of instruments as liabilities or equity

Assist with stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718, including valuation inputs, expense attribution, modifications, and related disclosures

Work with commercial, operations, legal, tax, and treasury teams to understand proposed contracts and transactions and communicate accounting considerations, escalating significant conclusions for review and approval

Assist the SEC reporting team with technical sections of financial statements and footnote disclosures, and help respond to external auditor inquiries on technical matters

Support preparation of pro-forma financials for acquisitions, including target data analysis and pro-forma adjustments.

Perform significance tests (investment, asset, and income) per Reg S-X 3-05 and Article 11 to determine financial statement and pro-forma requirements, including whether individually insignificant acquisitions must be aggregated, and document conclusions.

Contribute to the company accounting policies workstream by helping draft and maintain the accounting policy manual and technical accounting procedures, and support internal controls over complex transactions for SOX compliance

Share technical accounting knowledge with finance, accounting, and business personnel, and contribute to process improvements that enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of technical accounting analysis and financial reporting
