Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and management of subsea pipeline, flowline, cable, umbilical, and structure construction and installation.
• Plan installation of offshore facilities to approved engineering requirements, schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards.
• Lead installation engineering, vessel and marine operations, ROV/survey, offshore campaigns, contractor coordination, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning, and client interfaces.
• Set construction strategy, execution philosophy, installation sequence, campaign strategy, and priorities aligned with project milestones.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, marine, construction, and commissioning; lead construction readiness and offshore campaign planning.
• Ensure vessels, equipment, personnel, materials, and other resources are available; direct resolution of execution issues.
• Lead pipeline and flowline installation; oversee S-lay, J-lay, reel-lay, tow-out, or other project methods as applicable.
• Lead cable and umbilical installation and oversee cable route preparation and installation.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering in a relevant discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum 20+ years of experience, including at least 8 to 10+ years of significant offshore project experience.
• Proven offshore oil and gas subsea construction and installation experience.
• Extensive pipeline and flowline installation experience, including campaigns, tie-ins, crossings, stabilization, trenching/burial, and associated subsea work.
• Proven subsea power/control cable and/or umbilical installation experience, including pull-in, hang-off, protection, burial, and termination interfaces.
• PMC/EPC background is preferred; previous ADNOC Offshore experience is advantageous.

Project location

• The role is for an offshore PMC project in Abu Dhabi; offshore field execution is central to the work.
