Penspen is looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer-Rotating with 12+ years of experience to join the engineering team for a major Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project.
The job location will be based in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the rotating equipment engineering activities for FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases of oil and gas projects.
- Develop data sheets, specifications, and requisitions for rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, blowers, and packaged systems.
- Review vendor offers, perform technical bid evaluations, and participate in vendor meetings and design reviews.
- Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and other relevant international standards.
- Coordinate with process, piping, instrumentation, and electrical disciplines for equipment integration.
- Review vendor documents (GA drawings, datasheets, performance curves, etc.) and ensure timely approval.
- Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and design review workshops.
- Mentor junior engineers and review their deliverables for quality and accuracy.
- Support client and internal audits and ensure adherence to project quality and safety standards.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and experience in major brownfield FEED/EPC projects will be an advantage.
