Core Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience with at least 4 years of professional experience.
- At least 5 years of HCL Commerce and/or IBM WebSphere Commerce 8.x experience.
- At least 5 years of Java development and object-oriented design on large IT systems.
- At least 3 years of Spring or Spring MVC experience, including hands-on Spring Boot.
- At least 5 years of REST and SOAP web services experience.
- At least 5 years of source-control experience, with Git required.
- At least 3 years of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience, plus production Next.js and React experience.
- Experience with Agile delivery using Atlassian tools.
- Strong communication skills and proven teamwork.
Role Scope
- Customize commerce stores, business logic, tools, and catalog, order, and user flows.
- Integrate commerce platforms with back-end systems and develop REST APIs and services.
- Build production storefronts and full-stack solutions using Java and modern JavaScript technologies.
- Work collaboratively within Agile delivery teams using Atlassian tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- B2B commerce, punchout, or mobile commerce business model experience.
- Headless or composable commerce experience.
- MuleSoft or a similar iPaaS is a plus.
- Additional JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or Vue.
- Exposure to Solr, Redis or similar caching, and CMS-driven storefronts.
- Experience distinguishing Preview or authoring environments from Runtime or customer-facing environments.
