Sr. Electrical Engineer

Role

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors on project sites.
• Manage project planning, execution, schedules, budgets, and delivery.
• Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, load calculations, and specifications.
• Coordinate electrical systems with project managers, consultants, contractors, and other disciplines.
• Oversee design modifications, submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers, technicians, and apprentices.
• Monitor quality procedures and inspect workmanship against client specifications.
• Lead troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and problem resolution.
• Manage procurement, vendor evaluations, material specifications, and inventory.
• Maintain technical reports, documentation, cost tracking, and billing records.
• Participate in risk assessment, value engineering, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Valid ADQCC Certificate is required.
• Equivalency certification is required if applicable.
• Proven senior-level electrical engineering experience in construction or industrial projects.
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
