Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs and plans based on client requirements and specifications.
• Create detailed drawings and blueprints using CAD software.
• Consult with clients to understand their vision and advise on design feasibility.
• Visit project sites to assess conditions and gather information for design development.
• Coordinate with structural and electrical engineers and other professionals to integrate building systems.
• Prepare project cost estimates and timelines for client approval.
• Oversee construction to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and regulations.
• Review contractor bids and select suitable contractors for project execution.
• Monitor construction progress and address issues or delays.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain construction quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Architect Engineer or in a similar architecture role.
• Construction experience is required for shortlisting.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Strong knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, and regulations.
• Problem-solving ability, creative thinking, and ability to propose innovative solutions.
• Effective communication and ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Detail-oriented organization and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional licensure or certification as an Architect Engineer is preferred.
