Role overview
Conduct speech and language therapy with children, including assessment, individualized treatment, and one-to-one and group sessions.
Responsibilities
- Assess children to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance communication skills.
- Provide one-to-one and group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals.
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes.
- Use sensory rooms and therapeutic equipment during sessions.
- Provide community workshops for teachers and caregivers.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development.
Essential qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a relevant field.
- Valid license to practice Speech and Language Therapy in the UAE.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience
- At least two years of direct speech and language therapy experience with children.
- Up to eight years of relevant experience is advantageous.
- Multidisciplinary team experience is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is up to AED 7,000 per month.
