Overview
SearchPlus HR is seeking a dedicated Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry to join our client’s reputable dental practice.
This role involves delivering comprehensive dental care to children, ensuring they receive age-appropriate treatments in a friendly and compassionate environment.
The Specialist will be responsible for diagnosing oral health issues, developing individualized treatment plans, and performing various pediatric dental procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough oral examinations and diagnose dental conditions in pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of children.
- Perform a variety of pediatric dental treatments including restorative procedures, extractions, preventive care, and behavior management techniques.
- Educate children and their parents or guardians on oral hygiene practices to maintain optimal oral health.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated with advancements in pediatric dental care through continuous education.
Requirements
- Degree in Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
- Specialist certification in Pediatric Dentistry.
- Valid license to practice dentistry.
- Proven experience in pediatric dental treatment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and families.
- Ability to apply behavior management techniques to ease patient anxiety.
- Commitment to providing high-quality dental care in a patient-centered environment.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
