We are seeking an experienced **Interventional Cardiologist** to join a leading healthcare facility in Muscat, Oman.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases and performing a wide range of interventional cardiac procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases.
- Perform and interpret coronary angiography and cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Conduct interventional procedures including angioplasty and stent placement.
- Manage emergency cardiac cases and acute coronary syndromes.
- Evaluate and treat patients requiring pacemaker implantation and related cardiac interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital quality standards.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognized institution.
- MD/DNB in General Medicine (preferred pathway).
- DM Cardiology or DNB Cardiology.
- Valid medical registration.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of post-specialization experience in Interventional Cardiology.
- Hands-on experience in Cath Lab procedures.
- Proven experience performing:
- Coronary Angiography
• Coronary Angioplasty (PCI)
- Cardiac Catheterization
- Pacemaker-related procedures
Preferred Requirements
- Oman DataFlow preferred.
- Oman Prometric examination preferred.
- Oman Medical License or OMSB eligibility preferred.
Skills
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Expertise in interventional cardiac procedures.
- Excellent communication and patient management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
