We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Sous Chef – International Cuisine** to support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
The Sous Chef will ensure high-quality food preparation, consistency, hygiene compliance, and smooth kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations.
- Supervise and coordinate Chef de Partie, Demi Chefs, and Commis.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Monitor food cost, wastage control, and stock levels.
- Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Conduct daily briefings and support training of junior staff.
- Handle kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Assist in menu development and seasonal updates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in international cuisine.
- Minimum 2 years experience as Sous Chef or strong CDP ready for promotion.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in cost control and kitchen management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
