Key Responsibility
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
- Supervise and guide chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
- Ensure food is prepared consistently according to recipes and quality standards.
- Monitor food presentation, taste, and portion control.
- Oversee kitchen hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and food ordering when required.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Coordinate kitchen activities during busy service periods.
- Handle scheduling and staff allocation in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Assist with menu development and introducing new dishes.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
Required Experience**
- Should be able to provide direction for all day-to-day operations in the kitchen
- Strong culinary knowledge and cooking skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.
- Time management and ability to work under pressure.
- Cost control and inventory management skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
- Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
