Job Purpose
The Commis 1 is responsible for supporting kitchen operations by assisting chefs in the preparation and presentation of food, while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality in a fast-paced environment
Food Preparation & Kitchen Support
- Assist chefs in day-to-day operations of both hot and cold kitchen sections.
- Prepare ingredients and support in food preparation as per instructions.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to established quality and standards.
Quality & Hygiene Standards
- Strictly adhere to food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines in line with company policies
Operations & Efficiency
- Work efficiently in a busy production kitchen environment, ensuring timely preparation of food.
- Support smooth kitchen operations by coordinating with team members.Ensure proper storage and handling of food items to maintain quality and freshness.
