Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations in a catering setting.
Manage high-volume food production for camp, industrial, corporate, or contract catering operations.
Kitchen operations and production
- Supervise and coordinate chefs, cooks, kitchen helpers, and other kitchen staff.
- Prepare meals according to approved recipes, menus, portion sizes, and quality standards, and meet production schedules.
- Monitor taste, presentation, temperature, and portion control.
- Assist with menu planning, recipe standardization, and production planning; prepare daily plans and allocate staff duties.
Food safety and stock
- Maintain food storage, labeling, FIFO/FEFO practices, and stock rotation; monitor food consumption to reduce waste and unnecessary costs.
- Coordinate with stores and procurement regarding kitchen requirements and shortages.
- Handle raw materials properly to prevent cross-contamination and monitor cooking and storage temperatures.
- Maintain personal hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and sanitation; follow HACCP, food safety, health and safety, and company hygiene procedures.
Equipment
- Conduct regular kitchen equipment checks and report maintenance requirements.
Pay
- Pay is AED 5,000–6,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.

- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Comply with HACCP, food safety, health and safety, and company hygiene procedures.
- Prevent cross-contamination through proper handling of raw materials.
- Store food at appropriate temperatures and monitor cooking temperatures.
