Deliver measurable value through cost, quality, service, risk and supply continuity improvements while aligning site needs with regional and global procurement strategies.
What you'll do
- Lead cost-saving initiatives and sourcing projects across assigned spend categories.
- Partner with regional and global Procurement to leverage scale and secure optimal solutions.
- Engage site stakeholders and functional teams to understand needs and deliver value-focused outcomes.
- Create value with external partners, including reduced lead times, improved payment terms and innovative supply solutions.
- Use approved tools, systems and methodologies in sourcing and buying.
- Implement supplier performance processes and metrics for continuous improvement.
- Promote compliant buying and contracting and support audit readiness.
- Track category trends, conduct market research and communicate insights and risks.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with strategic and higher-risk suppliers.
What you'll bring
- At least 5 years of procurement experience with a track record in sourcing and commercial negotiations.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating contracts and terms with high-risk suppliers.
- Strong stakeholder management, supplier relationship, communication and negotiation skills.
- CIPS Level 4 or active study toward it.
- Strong knowledge of category management, strategic sourcing and supplier performance management.
