The Solutions Architect will design scalable, secure enterprise solutions on the Azure/Microsoft stack.
The role defines cloud, integration, and data architecture for complex technology programs, meeting enterprise security, governance, and scalability standards.
This is a hybrid role in downtown Toronto, with 2–3 days per week in the office.
What you’ll do
- Design enterprise solution and data architecture for complex technology programs.
- Architect cloud, integration, and data solutions using APIs, Kafka/event-driven architecture, and modern data pipelines.
- Design and oversee data pipelines and ETL using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
- Define integration patterns and API strategies across enterprise applications and services.
- Design SQL/NoSQL data models and storage for application and analytics needs.
- Align architecture decisions with security, governance, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Translate requirements into technical designs with delivery leads, business analysts, and engineering teams; review and guide implementation.
- Identify architectural risks and trade-offs, advise stakeholders and leadership, and recommend improvements based on Azure platform capabilities.
What you’ll need
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise solution or data architecture on the Azure/Microsoft stack.
- Strong experience designing scalable cloud, integration, and data solutions using APIs, Kafka/event-driven architecture, SQL/NoSQL, and data pipelines/ETL.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
- Working knowledge of security, governance, and enterprise architecture standards, plus an understanding of modern data platform and integration patterns.
- Ability to communicate complex technical designs to technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience in large, complex enterprise environments and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
