About the Role

Solution Architect – Government Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document
• end-to-end solutions
• for government systems, ensuring alignment with

requirements

• .
• Lead solution assessments, feasibility studies, and architecture blueprints for new and existing systems.
• Ensure
• interoperability and integration
• between ministries, national platforms, and shared services.
• Work closely with
• business, data, and security architects
• to ensure holistic and compliant solutions.
• Provide guidance on
• cloud adoption, application modernization, and digital platforms
• .
• Participate in workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate solution designs, and gain buy-in.
• Define
• non-functional requirements
• (performance, scalability, reliability, security).
• Support RFPs, technical evaluations, and vendor solution assessments.
• Mentor junior consultants and share solution architecture best practices within FMB.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong background in
• solution design, system integration, and enterprise platforms
• .
• Knowledge of
• government service frameworks (NORA 2.0, GSB, SDAIA guidelines, NCA controls)
• .
• Familiarity with
• SOA, APIs, microservices, and cloud architectures
• .
• Hands-on experience with
• EA tools
• (Sparx EA, Alfabet, iServer) is preferable.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to simplify complex architectures into clear solution roadmaps.

Qualifications & Experience

• **2–8 years**
• of experience in Solution Architecture, System Integration, or IT Consulting.
• At least
• one year working on Saudi public sector or e-government projects
• .
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Certifications in

TOGAF, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), ITIL, or PMP
