Software Integration Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure software in customer test and production environments.
• Set up server hardware and peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and Bluetooth devices.
• Modify product code to meet customer needs.
• Demonstrate integrated systems during functional acceptance testing and on-site system testing.
• Travel to project sites, up to 25% depending on the project.
• Analyze production defects, provide limited rotating on-call escalation support, and improve automated testing and deployment tools.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience; co-op experience is considered.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with SQL, database knowledge, and experience with an object-oriented programming language.
• C# is preferred; Java, C++, or other object-oriented languages are acceptable.
• Knowledge of Flyway, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Python, or Ignition is an asset.
• Ability to travel and work nights or weekends.

Compensation

• Total compensation range is $50,000–$80,000; no compensation cadence is specified.
