Three-year Software Engineering Apprenticeship supporting the national security mission.
Apprentices receive training and rotate through product teams, working alongside experienced colleagues.
Role responsibilities
- Help design, develop and test software solutions.
- Develop modern cloud-based solutions across AWS and Azure and contribute to AI capabilities.
- Build experience with software languages, databases and engineering tools.
- Develop teamwork, communication and leadership skills.
About you
- Applicants should have a genuine interest in technology and a desire to learn.
- Curiosity and a logical approach to problem-solving are sought.
- A formal technical background is not required.
Training and qualification
- The programme includes support towards a BSc (Hons) Degree in Digital and Technology Solutions.
- Training, mentoring and opportunities to attend industry events and earn professional certifications are available.
Working arrangements
- Most learning and working takes place in person because of the secure nature of the work.
- Limited remote study may be available where appropriate.
- Training-site travel opportunities include London and Greater Manchester.
Salary
- The description lists salary figures of £28,556 to £31,154 for London, depending on organisation, and £29,081 for Greater Manchester.
