What you'll do
- Work on data-science projects involving predictive modeling, NLP, statistical analysis, vector-space modeling, and machine learning.
- Research user datasets, develop models, and create data products with Development and Product teams.
- Develop novel, scalable data systems with system architects using machine learning to improve user experience.
- Explore state-of-the-art methods and help keep team technology current.
What you'll need
- Software Engineer level requires 2.5+ years of experience; Senior Software Engineer level requires 4.5+ years.
- Knowledge and experience with statistical and machine-learning algorithms, including regression, instance-based learning, decision trees, Bayesian statistics, clustering, neural networks, deep learning, and ensemble methods.
- Expert knowledge of Python and at least one project involving LLM fine-tuning.
- Experience in feature selection and building and optimizing classifiers.
- Experience with backend technologies such as Flask or Gunicorn.
- Experience with open-source libraries such as spaCy, NLTK, or Gensim, and deep-learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with software-stack components including programming languages, backend technologies, database modeling, continuous integration, service-oriented architecture, and software testability.
- Keen interest in learning and developing software.
